What is the Declaration of Unity?

A Declaration of Unity to stand against domestic and family violence has been drafted inviting all religious leaders to take part and endorse the Declaration in their communities.

The Declaration of Unity, as the name suggests, welcomes all leaders to stand against domestic and family violence and put an end to the abuse of women and children, the elderly and vulnerable members of their community. By Declaring and endorsing this message, they sill ensure they implement strategies within their institutions to support victim-survivors.

There is no financial form of contribution or other forms of contribution needed. A simple agreement to be part of the Declaration of Unity is sufficient and will not require any institution to commit to any agendas.

The Declaration is Accessible here and shows all institutions that have currently endorsed its objectives.
